Cocagne - In the context of reducing our energy footprint, the GDDPC hosted a consultant from NB Power's Community Energy Efficiency Program (https://www.saveenergynb.ca/en/save-energy).
The NB Power consultant visited a house in Cocagne, to give tips on how to reduce energy use, such as using LED bulbs, lowering the thermostat at night, and planning household activities to avoid peak periods. The main focus of the consultation was on increasing the energy efficiency of the envelope, the insulation and the heating system of the house. Read the consultation report. The visit took place as part of the GDDPC’s Climate Action project.
