The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group (GDDPC) invites you to take part in a hands-on workshop presented by Rosmarie Lohnes of Helping Nature Heal. The workshop will be held on Tuesday August 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Cocagne Community Park, adjacent to the Cocagne Marina, 130 Marina Street, Cocagne NB.
Helping Nature Heal uses materials from nature, advanced science and ecosystem restoration expertise to restore vegetation and to help stabilize shorelines.
The objective of the workshop is to learn how to implement the naturalization of a coastal rock wall to protect against erosion accentuated by climate change. Participants will learn about the types of plants and methods suitable for coastal sites.
