You are invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to celebrate the rich biodiversity and natural heritage of the Cocagne River and Bay watershed. We will present our various programs on food security, natural dyes and fibers, flora and fauna inventories, and water quality. We would love to hear your suggestions and comments for future activities. The annual meeting will be followed by a concert by Sylvie Boulianne accompanied by Caroline Savoie and Marie Andrée Gaudet. Snacks, tea, and coffee will be served, and the bar will be open. The meeting will be in French.
The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group (GDDPC) and the Rural Community of Beausoleil invite you to help protect the natural structures installed along the shoreline at Cocagne Marina and Notre Centre in Grande-Digue.
Rosmarie Lohnes and her team from Helping Nature Heal will guide participants through the preparations for winter. We will add some coastal plants and mulch, then reinforce the branch fence. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the living shorelines approach.

The meal is a pot pie (turkey) with a salad of roasted vegetables, plus a dessert. A millet pie as a vegetarian option is also available. Vegetables are sourced from the Cocagne community garden and the turkey is from Boudreau Meats.
