The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group (GDDPC) and the Rural Community of Beausoleil invite you to help protect the natural structures installed along the shoreline at Cocagne Marina and Notre Centre in Grande-Digue.
Rosmarie Lohnes and her team from Helping Nature Heal will guide participants through the preparations for winter. We will add some coastal plants and mulch, then reinforce the branch fence. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the living shorelines approach.
The work will take place outdoors:
Monday, November 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cocagne Marina, located at 130 Marina Street, Cocagne, NB, E4R 2T1.
Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Notre Centre in Grande-Digue, located at 468 Route 530, Grande-Digue, NB, E4R 5K3.
N.B. The demonstrations will be conducted in English.
Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and outdoor work.
This initiative is made possible through the New Brunswick Environmental Trust Fund and the Nature NB Healthy Coasts program.
