Cocagne - The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group (GDDPC) invites you to a butterfly outing this Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Cocagne trail, Centre 50 parking lot, 10 Villa street in Cocagne.
What do insects such as bees, wasps, bumblebees, butterflies, hoverflies, bee flies, some birds and a few mammals have in common? They are all pollinators! This is an extremely important role, as the fruits and seeds that come from pollinated flowers are a food source for humans and many animal populations. In order to better understand the beautiful diversity of our pollinators and especially butterflies, we invite you to an outing with naturalists Stuart Tingley and Louis-Émile Cormier.
When: Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9:30 am
Where: Cocagne Trail, parking at Centre 50, 10 Villa Street in Cocagne
With: Stuart Tingley and Louis-Émile Cormier
Bring your butterfly guides and binoculars if you have them! Don't forget sun and mosquito protection.
This is a 2 hour walk on a beautiful trail, children welcome!
There will be butterfly plants to give away.
