Cocagne - The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group, in collaboration with the Cocagne Emergency Measures Planning Committee is selling 72-hour Emergency Kits for the citizens of Cocagne.

The Climate Change Adaptation Plan recently adopted by the Cocagne Municipal Council encourages citizens to prepare for an increase in adverse weather conditions. The Cocagne Emergency Measures Planning Committee, in accordance with the Red Cross, recommends keeping an emergency kit with sufficient supplies (water, food) to provide for at least 72 hours (3 days) in the event of a long-term power outage.

The value of the kit is approximately 125$. Thanks to a contribution from the New Brunswick Environmental Trust Fund and the John Lyons Foundation of Shediac, the purchase price is reduced to 75$.
