The PCSDG would like to thank local artist Andrea Buckle from St-Thomas-de-Kent for having created ten sculptures which will be presented to several engaged citizens at the “Biodiversity in the Pays de Cocagne” presentation to be held on May 22nd.

Here is a bit of background information on her artistic process:

“The sculptures are made from various pieces of driftwood and rocks that I have been collecting for years. A lot of the driftwood comes from northern New Brunswick, as do many of the rocks, although over the past couple of years I have found many treasures on the beaches of Nova Scotia. They were made with the environment and community in mind, and symbolize the beauty that surrounds us and gratitude for having it.”

Andrea can be contacted via her website www.andreabuckle.ca

Appointments are welcome!
