Birds of the Cocagne Watershed

The province of NB has listed 406 (2004) bird species. In the Cocagne watershed, 244 species have been recorded to date (2017).

The order of the species listed below follows that of the Peterson Field Guide to Birds.

The photo above shows the Great Blue Heron, a very common resident and nesting coastal bird in Cocagne. In 2006, 219 nests were counted.
