Cocagne –
Over twenty participants gathered at the Centre 50 of Cocagne Wednesday evening to listen to Denise LeBlanc and Raymond Drennan detail possible natural funeral options in New Brunswick.

The workshop « Preparing your Natural Funeral » was presented to the public in an animated exchange of questions and responses, with much interest given towards natural funeral planning. Among other things, the speakers, and members of the Natural Burials & Cemeteries Committee, addressed topics in relation to natural cemeteries and burial grounds, traditional and natural burial caracteristics, ranging? from differences between modern and alternative burial practices, as well as legal responsabilities and challenges arising from non pre-planned funerals. The evening ended with a short sketch on the importance of funeral pre-planning and the distribution of a guide to planning a natural burial prepared for the participants.
